It was only done because my pap test look more serious than it really was. I also had a biopsy. It wasn't painful at all, just a little uncomfortable.

I got it done once since I had abnormal cells and they wanted to make sure it wasn't anything to worry about. It turned out fine but for me the procedure really hurt and was uncomfortable.

They were able to pin point what virus I had, and how I can take care of myself when a out break occur, no side effects just mild cramps and slight bleeding nothing major.
