I don't have a choice...i stopped on 26 Feb 2009...haven't had one since.

Quitting is as hard or as easy as you want to make it. After the nicotine is gone, it's all in your mind.

Developed bulimia nervosa instead....

quit for 1 year and thought I had it under control so I came back to the booze. It such a bigger and badder problem this time.

stopped drinking on diagnosis of cirrhosis, haven't touched a drop since.

It is cold turkey but only after MANY failed attempts over the past few years.It has been going well knock on wood and I feel strongly about it. When I quit I had just finished a porn session and just had a great revelation about my problem and what it has done to me....and I cried. Then I ordered several books on the subject for the first time and those have been extremely helpful.I am glad I am not alone in this problem. Basically I got fed up with myselfand tired of being disgusted.

So far so good, Day 48 alcohol free.

i quit drinkn after 2 manyblackouts nd bein such a b*2 everyone i no even strangers!I jus kep takin daybyday as it cums.At first i was realy strugglin not 2 drink wen sumthin didnt go my wayor i was jus feelin outa place.Im might go 2 Side effects im feelin beter than everEverythin seems so much clear.I hav anxiety but since i quit drinkn i havnt had ne problems w/it!I think my drinkin made it worse than it was!!I havnt had ne shakes or got sick from quitin coldturkeybut its not 4 every1
