This is how I quit first and second time. Made me moody and little things set me over the edge. I was quit for over a year, and the second time 6 months.
Working / Worked
I stopped drinking on March 27th, 2013. Although I am within my normal weight range for my height, my doctor told me that my blood work showed I might have a fatty liver and needed an ultra sound. I knew it wasn't my diet, but the fact I drank almost every day for two years. I changed my diet to a healthy liver diet and stopped drinking right then. My ultrasound was normal and I am thankful God has given me a second chance.
I quit cold turkey and while I still have psychological cravings, I feel more energized and my kids/home don't smell of smoke.
Working / Worked
During pregnancy no problem . On my own was tough but doable. Now I'm a daily drinker and can't stop for more than a day or two at a time.
Working / Worked
Worked when I was in a relationship with someone who didn't drink.
Working / Worked
It worked before about 7 years ago...
Working / Worked
Read the book "Easy Way to Stop Drinking" by Allen Carr. Haven't had a drink since. No side effects.
Working / Worked
This works for my binge pattern...as cravings are minimal and the clear level of discomfort in coming off alcohol is still a close memory...and absolutely a slow death like experience.
Done this a couple times.
Working / Worked
Has worked in the past. I was sober for 10 mos but then started drinking again because I thought I could handle it.
