Used for 6 months up until pregnacy. Symptoms improved, but didn't go away. Discontinued use and colitis flared up uncontrollably, which lead to toxic megacolon.

Still on it. Although it has also stopped working completely. No side effects.

In the beginning it worked, but lost effect after 3 months

Used after almost losing my life to a creepy GI who wouldn't look for the CAUSE of my illnesses but chose to medicate, having declined Remicade and others, I reluctantly chose Colazal...Also taking copious amounts of Omegas and pred, so not sure if it worked or not but continued without flare for several months, discontinued but flard again, used again, made me worse...

I guess it helped some. I was taking 9 pills a day and tapered off them. I haven't taken it in about 5 years.
