I hear alot better, but there are time when it takes work. I do everything I can, my biggest problem is hearing peoples ignorance.

I got implanted on my left side at 16 years old. Since then, I've been able to pick up much more higher-pitched sounds. However, I still depend on my right ear (with hearing aid) to understand clarity and to make occasional phone calls.

For me it was a challenge and a risk to dive into cochlear implants due to Menieres. But it all worked out in the end and I am hearing quite well.
