I started going to coda meetings 7 years ago...actually today. But, I only made it to a few meetings. It was so intense. It made me sick to my stomach. I was being Coda going to Coda as I was going with a friend...for her. I knew it was for me. But, if she didn't go...I didn't go. And so it didn't work so well for me. It is a great program. I would like to find a meeting that works for me. I didn't check out enough different ones.

I was not impressed with the group in my area.

with my husband being alco. I moved to a different state, where I have not made any friends because I have enough on my plate dealing with him and going thru the HCV treatment alone....

I go to meetings twice a week and I am apart of a support group. I feel that is helping me in so many ways and helping me to stand up for myself and to love me.

Need to start more groups, have stopped going to meetings and need to, they help

only been attending few months
Working / Worked
I have just started attending a local CoDA group. I can't say that I'm feeling better, but what the others are sharing at the group is hitting the nail on the head, in terms of defining the issues I have been struggling with all my life. I suspect that in time if I stay consitent in attending and work the program I will begin to see results.
