I've had about 12 sessions so far. Very good. I need a sponsor and need to find my higher power (difficult for me to grasp).

3 years into recovery and CODA has changed my life. It has given me the stretch to say thing out loud that I've held in for year and to treat myself and others with boundries and respect. Most importantly it has taught me to be gentle with myself and know that I am perfectly imperfect.

I attend a large group meeting once a week where we focus on working the 12 Steps and another smaller one just for women where we focus on romance addiction. I've made new friends and have learned from listening to and sharing with others who really understand.
