In conjunction with flagyl, it helped clear my infections. However, it left a terrible taste in my mouth and my tongue had a white coating on it. My pharmacist said that is because the cipro killed bacteria in my body, including all the "good" bacteria (which is also located in your mouth).

Only use this when i have chest infection from a cold or something like that. Does cause thrush though.

Yogurt helps to keep things in order.

Cipro is working great for me. most of the pain was gone about the fourth day.
