Child Time-out Reviews
Working / Worked
I try to use time-outs as a cooling down period rather than a punishment. But my child really tries to avoid them, so it seems to work mostly as a deterrent. I've only actually put her in "timeout" about a dozen times and ended up sitting with her to calm her down...but it did work.
