Yes! She hates to be in time out.
Sometimes its good to take a break.
We use strong sitting or yoga kneeling postures with calming breaths so that she can take an active part in regulating her own energy.
Works really well, except that the 1 and 2 year olds don't get it.

He definitely has shown remorse when he's not a good listener. Before I had a kid, I never thought "time outs" would work, but I've seen it.
This does help
I do not have to use this often but at times do use it.
Time out is the only thing that calms him down when he is raging.
