Currently on maintenance of Alimta and Avastin. Did do Carboplatin as well for 1st 4-5 treatments. Dr says I am maintaining. First tx landed in hospital for a couple days, drastic weight loss. Have gained all back plus some now.

Oh My GOD! I had every wierd side effect known to the drugs. Neuropathy, leg cramps, vomiting... you name it.

Its working
It worked, but left me felling like an 80 year old man in cronic pain and unable to live my life the same ever again.
Working / Worked
I will meet with my medical team for a run through on the 14th.
Working / Worked
I begin Dec. 20
They say they do not see the disease in my blood. Still doing Chemo.
I had no side effects. My treatment was RFC. 6 months, 3 consecutive days each month.
I've only had 1 cycle of chemo and it wasn't so bad. It brought my white cell count down, but I need a blood transfusion, which was worse than the chemo. (hives, swelling side affects)
