torisil - great 1st report after scan - Dr.took my husband off of it "to give him a break " after 4-5 weeks off, the next scan was not as good. We never knew if the time off made a difference. He then said there was nothing else he could put him on and suggested trials. We changed Drs. and are so glad we did.

The chemo was working for a while but then CA went to his bone marrow and he just couldn't take the chemo as his blood would not reproduce platelets and RBC.

My first chemo was at the hospital where I had my surgery,(30 miles from home) then the rest were at my local cancer center where the experience has been much better and personal. I love my doctor there and all the nursing staff as well. They have all treated me special, and make me feel loved.
