Have been a part of a CR group for almost 3 years now.

It has helped incredibly learning about my codependancy and how to control it.

Celebrate Recovery is helping me to reprocess thoughts about loneliness. I am getting to know Jesus in a very personal way. I know He is there and He will never leave me or forsake me. It is not just scripture that Ive heard or learned it is becoming real to me.

I have learned how to trust God in a way that I never knew how to do before. I have friends that share my challenges and I have a sponsor with whom I can talk about solutions. I also have a healing counselor at our church who is part of the CR team. He encourages me and calls me into accountability. I am mainly working on the emotional hurt of divorce as well as fear anxiety and depression. I am beginning to know that I still have a good life ahead of me with many opportunities.

I attend Celebrate Recovery at my church. I am involved in a Step Study at this time. I have a sponsor, and go to a healing minister at our church for talk therapy. He is a member of CR, so he can give me wisdom within the guidelines of recovery in CR.

The steps of CR are helping my hurts and hangups in a way that I have never known. I am learning to depend on God in a way that I didnt before. I have a support group and a personal sponsor that I can talk to when Im stressing or need wisdom in a situation. I have a healing minister from church for talk therapy. He points out the progress Im making when I cant see it. This gives me strength when the anxiety hits and I think all is lost. I can remember what he said when Im alone.

This has been a life-saving organization for me. I have made loyal, trust-worthy, Christian friends. I have a place to share feelings, and I know I can communicate with anyone there.
