I don't even go without it when I meditate. The masks are killing me. I've tried a dozen I think. Each one does something different and horrible to my face. Current one leaves a big dent in my forehead. I wish I was a good prospect for surgical fix, but I am not, I am told. IMPORTANT: Be sure you get a humidifier. I didn't and almost ended up getting an unnecessary brain biopsy because my docs thought my headaches were neurological. The dry CPAP air created a sinus infection.

Just had titration night. AWESOME. Woke after about 4hrs sleep on the machine, feeling more rested than I have in many years. My awesome primary care MD thinks she can get me a donation of the correct machine. Looking forward to it, will update when I do.

I am heavy and looking forward to getting rid of some of this weight w/my bi-pap... 2nd night and slept all the way thru! WOW! When I was prego I couldn't use it at all, my daughter was small I think because of it. She only weighed 5.7lbs when she was born. She was "fine" but I always had headaches etc... I am excited about this chance to change my life! Tonight will be my 3rd night to use the bi-pap.

It seems to be working for me. I feel more alert now, at any rate, and I know I'm sleeping deeper because I'm actually dreaming now. At the sleep study, they said I only got about 3 min of REM sleep. No wonder I was exhausted!

Using the auto C-flex machine has helped me tremendously. Before, I got the machine, I was tired all the time. I couldn't get out of bed on the weekends, always tired. I had trouble staying awake while driving across the bridge to work - very scary. I fell asleep once in a meeting.

I use a nasal pillow which my DR think I might need a full face mask. CPAP has helped alot I do still stop breathing a few times an hour. NO side effects. not so good when you have a cold and stuffy nose.

A work in progress
