Thanks to God's hands on the hands of the talented surgeon I had, the surgery has worked and I am recovering nicely about 5 weeks after surgery.

Had triple by pass Jan 5 07 and 5 stents since then. I keep plugging back up. every two months.

Five bypasses. The heart attack left me with little scarring, but the lower part of my heart does not pump normally

Right out of surgery lots of morphine made it not so bad. Your really pretty helpless for a week or so.

Practically no scar at all.
Had it done at Univ of Penn HUP. I went to the VA Hosp in Phila and did not know that Penn did all their work.


I think the most importaint thing is where you have it done. Penn was wonderful.

I'm not saying it was a good experience but it takes a lot out of you for a while but when your better you never felt so good.

Double Bypasss and it has been successful for two years.

Had my bypass six weeks ago. everything was recovering fine until about a week ago when i get severe angine while walking. turns out my LAD is littered with plaque and will take longer than i thought to recover.

Two years ago and still working. Have developed Coronary Heart Failure (CFH)which is parr for the course.
