Placement of the stent tore my artery and I immediately had emergency bypass surgery to replace the torn artery. I had lost alot of blood and had spent several days in a coma. For 2.5 years following surgery I had fluid build up around the heart and had to be hospitalized several times. For the last 18 months I've been doing very well.

Husband had triple bypass in 2000 at 48 years old,
