I am learning to live on a tighter budget. My lifestyle was definitely affected. I mostly work, and I try to spend as much time as I can with my kids. No vacations, shopping, restaurants, and movies. I watch every dollar.

For the most part, it's working, but there are, of course, unforseen snafus.

It works when heating, electric and gas isn't sky high. No room for any fun at all.
