This is the most awful invention... I would have to think that the smartest people in the world could come up with something better than this

I wore it until I stopped growing and my curve went from 37 to 33 degrees.

That helps, but doesn't solve the problem.

I was the study for the Modified Boston Backbrace at the University of Illinois. in Chicago. I have meet one person that wore this brace. I told her, I was the study for that and am glad it helped her! I remember having all these handsome doctors standing around me!

I can't say for sure whether or not the bracing helped as a kid, but I'm still progressing about a degree a year as an adult.

I wore a brace from age 13-15 at night. I stopped wearing it when I stopped growing. It was not very helpful - my curve still got worse and I am still in a lot of pain. I have recently herniated a disc in my lower back - I also have terrible leg and back pain throughout the day. I am trying to work on getting better but sometimes feel like turning to surgery.

I used one at night for three years, and although it was helpful at the time, in the end it didn't work at all.

The back braces did nothing to stop the curve of my spine, it still increased until i turned 19.
