It worked if you considered that the curve did not keep getting worse.

Worked great, until my dr's told me not too use them anymore. That was back in 2003. For the last 7 going on 8 years, the pain has flared up so bad, that its hard to get out of bed everyday, and dr's refuse to do surgery.

When I began wearing my back brace, I had a 30-degree lumbar curve. Now, after eleven years of not wearing my brace, my curve is holding steady at 17 degrees. In other words: my treatment was successful. :)

Jasmine had a boston brace for 9 years. Although she wasn't fond of wearing it, it did work and helped keep her from needing surgery earlier in her life.

I wore a brace that was not visible. I wore clothes over it. From ages 5-12 I wore a brace 20 hours a day. When i was 12, I switched to a brace that I only had to wear at night. I wore that until just recently. I shouldn't have to wear a brace again because my curve stayed below 45-50 degrees and doctors don't consider surgery until you hit that point.

The brace helped keep my curve from increasing as long as I wore it tight enough, but God truly blessed me and He is the best form of treatment

I had my first back brace when I was in the 4th grade, and my 2nd one after my surgery in the 6th grade.
