seeming went well, now more then 20 years later. but having some late term, well very late term side effects GVH and the such related to treatments.

It's worked so far. January 5th will be my three year anniversary of my bone marrow transplant, and I've been cancer free since 1/5/07. The side effects were horrible though. I felt like utter crap every day for at least two months, and that was when I was lucid.

It was THE hardest thing I have ever had to do. There were times when I didnt think I would make it. But it paid off. All of the grueling days and nights were worth it because I survived. However my life has changed dramatically because of the treatments and meds. I developed severe osteoperosis. I am 52 in a 90 year old body.

Remission for apx 4 months. He felt better than he had in years for those 4 months, though.

Intense, still intense. Fatigue the worst and withdrawel form steroids. Quality of life could be worst. Bouts of GVHD. Eating can be hard from time to time. Caner free
