IT DOES HELP. I HAD BEEN TAKING IT FOR AT LEAST 1 1/2 YEARS, BUT GOT OFF BECAUSE I WAS PUT ON MTX AND THE LIVER IS A LITTLE HIGH RIGHT NOW.

I am not sure whether it helps or not...but I have not had any problems with hot flashes, so it probably has...
