Working / Worked
It is a way to train the brain. to help get rid of negative thoughts and to help keep your brain waves at a normal level. I started a few months ago and so far it has been helping. I see an improvement with my anxiety and negative thinking.

just starting it. May be the best form of treatment avaiable for those with PTSD. a friend of mine has been using it for about 6 months and has had incredible results. the friend no longer needs any medication at all. best form of therapy they have tried and they have tried pretty much all of them.
Working / Worked
I did this about 4 years ago and it worked well. More than anything it taught me more about my body and its reactions to the panic. I believe after a couple years you would need to go for another treatment to relearn.

I have had neurofeedback for my TBI. I use to describe my life as walking around in a dreamlike state. Very detached and just being an 'observer', viewing life around me. My brain wave was in the Delta Stage for many years. (Delta brain waves are the slowest of all your brainwaves). The Neurofeedback got my brain to perform in Beta. I still regress to Delta at times. I had months of neurofeedback. Sadly I could not continue because of lack of financial resources.
