It is administered by sub-cutaneous injection and has been shown to slow the advance of the affliction as well as reduce the frequency of attacks. just startedd... apparently it hasn't done anything for me yet.. I'm still on it.. but my legs became really weak, numb, tingling, and additional symptoms came back.. went through a crazy spinal tap... and here I am back on steroids!
She's been on it for 6 years now, seems to do her good.

I have been on Betaseron since the get go and have little to no symptoms since 2002.

I was having relapes every 3 months, the med took me too 9 months.

have lots of red spots, but I still can walk, even tho not in straight line and sometimes have to use cane.
I believe it is working.

Went back to work after10 days rest in 2005 and have stayed full time despite additional exacerbations. Stress is now too much and side effects too intense.

It's seems to be the best working for me. Since I've tried 3-4 others that did not work well with me.
