It is administered by sub-cutaneous injection and has been shown to slow the advance of the affliction as well as reduce the frequency of attacks. Started in June seems to be working as MRI is improved and no more exacerbations since June.

seems to work but doctor wants to change to copaxone. I get a rash at injections site.

stide effects were really bad at first no stop flu I lost 20lbs it all balanced out but I still olny take .75 of a dose and am scared to go to full dose I don't want to get sick again.

1 yr on ... have had several relapses ... but not since hitting the 6 months use of Betaseron

was on it for over 10 ears. It did not show any positive effects in thge long run and I went off it and it was replaced with Cytoxan.

no side effects for me. I haven't had any change in my MRI, so it's doing it's job well.
