It is administered by sub-cutaneous injection and has been shown to slow the advance of the affliction as well as reduce the frequency of attacks. This medication is helping. I hate having to do the injections every 2 days but it is ok. I get flu type symptoms such as fever and acheyness all over my body if I don't take advil or IB Profin with it.

I've been on full dose about a month now. The side-effects have been pretty mild. Going up to a full dose was the hardest adjustment for me. I have night sweats and moodiness on injection nights. The beta-nurse is WONDERFUL and the autp injector is TOO EASY to use. Makes it a lot less scary when u just push a button and hold it on I think. GOOD LUCK!
