Used Altabax on the last boil and it cleared within a week. Dr. prescribed Bactroban this time and it is now draining. I feel sick but don't know if it is because of any medication. It is more psychological I believe.

Bactroban and a gluten free diet has done what nothing else has in 20 plus years.

This helped a lot topical BACTROBAN ointment this works extremely well I dont know why its not used more by other sufferers the trick is to apply it the minute you feel an outbreak because as well as an antibiotic it has antiinflammatory properties. Then apply 4 times per day quite liberally.

At first I just thought my body was having a reaction to the prednison(160mg ) a day. my hand started to swell up . Then a few days after I was home my skin started to fall of my finger . The doctors thought they might have to amputate my arm.After 12 surgery's and 2 skingrafts and 2 months later they were able to save both my hand and arm I have no feeling in eather . I am right handed so that part kind of sucks .But at least I still have both.

I used this after I finished my Bactrim. This brought down the rest of the sore. I am debating using it in my nostrils and will keep it for any repeat sores.
