This is something that I have taken my whole life that has prevented infections pretty well. I did have more infections when I was taking it in liquid form because I don't think I was giving myself the proper dose. However since I have been taking it in pill form, It works so much better. I take one pill a day in the evening. I also take Ditropan which consists of one pill ever evening which is also working fine.

The ID doc had me on a triple does until the diarrhea got so bad that he had to stop it.

IT MAKES ME NAUSEOUS AND HAS SERIOUSLY SLOWED DOWN MY EATING BUT I HEAR LOOSING WEIGHT CAN ACTUALLY LOWER YOUR CHANCES OF A FLARE UP SINCE IVE BEEN TAKING BACTRIM IVE LOST 20 POUNDS IN 4 MONTHS.

It worked, but after a week of taking it i developed a rash over my whole body.

My son just started on Bactrim. So far it seems to be working with no side effects.

This was immediately given to me after I went to the doctor's with what I thought was a 'spider bite' (We have brown recluses where I live). It brought down the sore a lot. However, the sore was still present after the 10 days. I had to follow up with Bactroban to finish it off. Side effects were an upset stomach.

Was on twice. Did not work

For cellulitis, MRSA. Still with slight pain on ankle where cellulitis attacked last month.
