It worked after I used it but the infection came back. I didn't have any side effects other than the fact that I did get a pretty severe sunburn after only being out in the sun for 15 minutes. This was the best treatment I had for the infection.

This is something that I have taken my whole life that has prevented infections pretty well. I did have more infections when I was taking it in liquid form because I don't think I was giving myself the proper dose. However since I have been taking it in pill form, It works so much better. I take one pill a day in the evening. I also take Ditropan which consists of one pill ever evening which is also working fine.

The ID doc had me on a triple does until the diarrhea got so bad that he had to stop it.

It worked, but after a week of taking it i developed a rash over my whole body.

My son just started on Bactrim. So far it seems to be working with no side effects.

This was immediately given to me after I went to the doctor's with what I thought was a 'spider bite' (We have brown recluses where I live). It brought down the sore a lot. However, the sore was still present after the 10 days. I had to follow up with Bactroban to finish it off. Side effects were an upset stomach.

bactrim works for me, i have used it for a period of 6years as an preventive medication. i am presently not using it
