Took for about 3 mo before switching to selegiline generic (due to cost/no insurance). Was a real help combined with leva/carbidopa, but luckily the selegiline is even better.
Working / Worked
Started with AZilect three years ago as part of the clinical study. I think I was on 2mg daily (the individual patient results weren't released).I've continued with 2 mg but since the study results showed 1mg to be the optimum dose to be 1 mg I'm cutting back my dose. If anyone else is using it with early PD I would love to know your dose. No side effects.
Working / Worked
Only started 2 weeks ago. At the moment was better before this. Again, confusion and memory problems, glazed look as well.update...no longer on this drug
Azilect seemed to give minor help. Most of my days and nights were painful with cramping, slowness of movement, shakiness, etc.
