Azathioprine Reviews

Show: for
Saved me from surgery. Helped me with a major flare up and my Doctor said it was his last resort before surgery!
I cant tell if it is the prednisone or the azathioprine.
Was taken off of this due to pancreatitis attacks and poor liver function test results.
Working / Worked
It worked while I was on it. I was able to stop taking the medicine. I haven't taken it in 7 years.
Started on 150mg 4 years ago after transitioning from Cyclosporine and Pred Combo after nr surgery. Seems to have worked the whole time though because it's fairly strong I dream of coming off. Came down to 100mg about 6 months after starting the SCD diet.
Working / Worked
Imuran keeps me alive from the NBD.
It worked while I took it. Stupid cut back so much I had a monster flare.
50mg 2x per day. Has worked really well in the past. Hoping it will start working again for this most recent bad flare of DM.
Working / Worked
Taking 150mg per day for DM. Had to increase to 150 b/c 100mg wasn't working well enough. Pretty hard on my stomach, but otherwise working pretty well.
I am currently on this medication. It is used as a maintenance drug right now
