Avonex Reviews

Working / Worked
one of the few that the transient symptoms never went away, most weeks I still suffer the 'truck' effect
Working / Worked
I think it has helped slow the progression even though I have continued to progress, I have had fewer flares since I started.

Flue Symptoms have been the worse side effects I have experienced from the Avonex. Because I started having seizures, it was looked and is watched in case the drug has any part in the seizures.
Working / Worked
been on it for a little over a year. Still don't like it, but, I am hoping it is helping slow down the progression. Time will tell!
Working / Worked
Seems to be working but I hate doing the shot. I have to ice my leg for about 5 minutes before I can do the shot.
Working / Worked
after 2 1/2 years still feel side effects but i think its working it has reduced the nr of severe attacks
Working / Worked
not great
Working / Worked
Worked, got sick of the flu like side effects after 5 years
Working / Worked
I guess it's working. All I know is it makes me feel terrible!
Working / Worked
It sucks. If you like having the flu 1 day a week then take it. I haven't been on it long enough to tell if it's working or not.
Working / Worked
Take two extra strength tylenol a half before injection, and two more tylenol 6 hours after. I really helps with flu symtoms. At first I would take tylenol every 6 hours for a full 24 hours. But now two doses of tylenol really is really all I need.
