Working / Worked
It is like the flu every Tues (injections are Mon night) but seems to be working well.
Working / Worked
still working according to my last MRI. Side effects of nausea were short lived and disappeared within 3 months.
Working / Worked
As far as I know, it's working. I still get flu like chills and a killer headache but it's all been managable.
Working / Worked
worked but I relapsed on it so they changed it.
Working / Worked
worked for a while side effects-flu like symptoms
Working / Worked
Avonex seems to be working, in the past three years on it I have only had one relapse and that was 1 and a half years ago. The flu like symptoms are not nice, but it beats the alturnative. Because I teach, I take my shot on the weekend before I go to sleep. I used to take provigil for fatigue, now I use ritalin and it gets me through my day. I do not use the ritalin during the weekend so it is more effective when I need it.
Working / Worked
Avonex works the best it can for me because it is once a week. I think I take .5ml. after I take the meds it have me with a fever, the chills, bones hurt, and sweating.
Working / Worked
No major relapses in about 5 years. Just seems to be a slow steady decline.
Working / Worked
started september 2008, not sure if it's working yet! Still having the flu like symptoms, but they have gotten better :-)
So far so good. Had a minor relapse in Aug '08
