I have a one year old son who is amazing! He is always happy and smiling (except for when he is in pain from teething). He has been breast fed on demand since he was born; I carried him in a sling for the first three months of his life (even while cooking and turning the garden). Lately, he has begun to demonstrate incredible independence, which is actually why I have joined daily strength. I was hoping that I could talk with other parents about this issue.

Always practiced attachment parenting and I fully believe in it. It just came natural and I'm very happy with my relationship with my DD and her development.

I'm somewhat of an attachment parent-I Bf for as long as I was able, my son sleeps in my bed at night, he still enjoys being in carriers and being held/worn. It has beed a wonderful experience and has brought more pleasure and less stress to our lives.

I stayed home with my child for 3 years. I believe infants need to bond with their mother for at least 18 mos.

I co-sleep with our baby and carry her whenever she seems to need it. All seems to be going well.
