Dreams are vivid, because they seem sustained by the meds. I've just had a depressive period. I am only at 5 weeks of taking this med. Prior I had been on Viraimmune and Truvada... both worked, but I wanted to simplify and economize...
I'm curious if this will become more of an issue. I have had 4 friends all try Sustiva, the main psychotropic element in Atripla, before and freak out. They all got off it.
I sleep pretty well usually, though am posting this at 6am.

On for 6 weeks. Still feeling zoned out. I want my brain back. When does it get better - anyone?

Went from over 100K to Undetectable my first month. Been on it for 1 year & 3 months now. Still have very vivid dreams. (Have always had weird dreams.)

Been on Atripla for 2.5 years after being on no meds for 20 years. At first I had horrible nightmares, but discovered that if I took 1 mg of clonopin it seemed to really help reduce the severity of the nightmares. I've tried just taking Atripla by itself, but found that the nightmares come back. So I take it along with a clonopin right before I go to bed, and no problems.
Working / Worked
Still within the first two weeks of treatment. Seeking advice.
Working / Worked
No problems apart from occasional runs.
Working / Worked
Had to make small changes trouble sleeping, loss of appetite (could be from stress as well), vivid dreams, and I get a rash if I take too hot of a shower but I am undetectable and CD4 has doubled to 1,000
