Atkins Diet Reviews

I've been on it several times for 3-6months, but not in the last 8 years. It was extremely effective for dropping the weight and getting me to where I felt ready to exercise and really try to maintain lifestyle changes. But I tended to gain very quickly too once I started onto carbs again. Eventually I gained back to more than I was before and I wonder if there was a side effect to my metabolism that was not so good long term or if it was psychological.
tried. worked for my hubby like a charm. not for me.
Working / Worked
This worked very well but as soon as you try to eat normal again it comes right back and sometimes double.
I was 186 pounds after having my son so I decided that there was no way I was going to lose weight unless I did something drastically different. I started in April after having my son in February and wanted to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 155. I gave myself 9 months to lose the weight that I put on and I did it in 6. The reason I chose the Atkins diet is because I'm a sugar ADDICT, I seriously could eat candy and cookies all day and be completely fine with that.
Working / Worked
It did worked, but after a few months I get sick when Ihad to eat eggssss!

I keep coming back to atkins diet. It is the only one that I can stay on long term. I lost most weight being on this.
Tried this once in the past and it worked... I lost 5 pounds in a week. But I gained bad taste and odor in my mouth, I felt queezy and I craved something fresh.
Working / Worked
I ate 5 small meals a day; mostly marinated boneless, skinless chicken breast. I was at my leanest ever. However I did work out 3 hours a day as I was getting ready to go to the military.
Working / Worked
That seems to be the best diet for me...Cos I do not have any hunger pangs or food cravings...
It worked. I lost 70 lbs and kept it off 2 years. I was very strict and regimined and enjoyed it really, but like I said in my story, it was all the tempting food at my new job 2.5 years ago that did me in. I'm thinking of getting serious about it again.
