Hydroxyzine was the first medicine I was on when I was "officially" diagnosed in 1998. Worked for about 3 years and then stopped working. The docs then tried every other mediciation on me in order to find something that would work.

This is the best thing they have prescribed me. I do not take it everyday but I do take one if I feel a panic attack coming on. The only thing I have found about this medicine is it does make you very drowsy within 20 min of taking it.
