Asacol Reviews

Show: for
I take Canasa and Rowasa. They work in combination with Lialda, but I still have flares.
Was put on this in 2004 and have been on it ever since. I don't know if it helps or not, waiting to get stable enough to see if removing it makes a difference.
Worked for a while but switched to lialda
Was used as a maintenance drug...not really sure if it worked
Didn't work
I dont think that there is any side effect to this medication.
I am careless and often stop the medication without telling my doctor. When I feel bad I start taking Asacol with prednisone and it works in 3 days.
Just started Mesalazine granuals. Having Mesalazine supposotries to stop the blleeding.
I started taking Mesalazine just before I was diagnosed, which was about Nov 2005. It works ok for me I think, but I'm not sure if it can keep the UC at bay without the help of Predfoam enemas (prednisolone). I think it causes bad acne and a puffyface.
used to work. Not any more
Currently taking 500mg of Pentasa three times a day as maintenance, it's working quite well, I believe.
