(also known as Meclizine)
Meclizine (proposed INN is meclozine) is an antihistamine, considered to be an antiemetic. It is most commonly used to inhibit nausea and vomiting. An alternative to dimenhydrinates like Dramamine, Meclizine is considered to perform the same functions at an equitable level of effectiveness, but with reduced side effects. more at Wikipedia

this is a wonderful medication. though with all of the other meds i was and am still on i was concerned about mixing too many meds together. but for dizziness this was the one for me. worked wonderful. it was a choice i made less pain or less dizziness. then to top things off most of the meds i was on caused dizziness to worsen by far. ugh....what a nightmare. i didnt get any side affects.

Valium/Diazepam worked in the acute stage of vestibular neuritis symptoms to get me through the worst of it. Started with 2mg, and it didn't make me too groggy, but soon I started to feel my brain slowing down hard together. My thoughts weren't coming to me as quickly and registering information took a second.

For Dizziness Depends on the day as to whether this works or not.
