I am currently going through anger management, I am not getting anywhere with it though

I took a coarse about 8 years ago. It was useful.

Went to a therapist about a year ago for this, and he gave me ideas to help relax and divert my anger. Breathing exercises, "going to my happy place", etc.

I went for a 14 day residential stay. I had to do something about the anger I was carrying inside. For I was hurting myself and others around me by directing my anger at everyone else. Needed to learn new coping skills.

I didnt feel this worked, though I also believe this could be due to my high alcohol/drug intake whist i was completing the course.
