Shots allowed me to have a life. Before them, My parents came to pick me up at horse camp and all the kids were waiting for their parents outside. My parents found me sitting in the cabin on the bunk bed with a mound of kleenex next to me and a few shoved up my nose. I was miserable. The shots gave me back my life, but it took a long time (a whole school year ) before they worked. And my arms would swell at the inj. site.
