Defiently helps with my own growth. Once my husband became sober and started using the 12 steps I had to change my ways of dealing with issues and thats where alanon came in. As we live our lives we have the foundation of the 12 steps to get us through any challenge.
It's helpful to have support of people going through the same situations and emotions. I'm not alone that much is relieving.

I go to meetings, and it helps. My father goes to AA meetings as well. His sobriety has helped our relationship.
