Doxorubicin or adriamycin or hydroxyldaunorubicin is a DNA-interacting drug widely used in chemotherapy. It is an anthracycline and structurely closely related to daunomycin, and also intercalates DNA. I did not like this because it made me sick and I did not like my hair falling out. But, it did save my life.

Nasty stuff. I was very sick. Everything smelled like garbage or rotting food. Had two scarey infections due to low blood count.
