ty for being a founder of this site. i live in a remote rural community and had no support and little therapy options due to location. the support i have received in not feeling alone has made a tremendous difference in my life and gives me strength. be well and ty.

My hats off to you and the other founders of DailyStrength. I have found the posts quite enlightening and inspirational, and also recognize others that are in great need of support. Unfortunately, my career and family keeps me fairly occupied and I can't spend as much time here as I'd like, but I do learn and engage occasionally when I visit. One day I may pick your brain to see how I might make a greater contribution. Until then, I'll keep visiting and learning. Continued success to you and your partners.

You and your team are really special people. I found your site quite by accident and it has changed my life. Being an amputee it very limiting, but your wonderful site allows me to meet pepole who are going through everything I am. To help and be helped at the same time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for so many people.

Just needed you to know, after reading on different cases and being able to support people I do not even know I have found your web site to be positively inspiring to my soul. Great Idea I must say. Just wanted to thank you for this great website.I met my best friend for the first time in person after a year of messages and phone calls -all started here on DS . . . So many of us are confined to our homes and lose touch with former friends we can no longer keep up with. DS has been a godsend in so many ways. I have another DS friend in TN who came down to meet my Ca friend too.These two friends understand my illness and we're able to connect and share experiences, treatments, hopes, and fears . . . Just a thank you for doing this for us. My life is so much better since finding DS.

I've only been with Daily Strength for a week and it's helped immeasurably. The journaling,support and prayers have had phenomenal results already.I'm going through a tough time and may be starting to crack. I have a good therapist who will help me,but Daily Strength is what I'm clinging to right now. Keep up the good work.

I was glad daily strength started the my groups. The support groups some times keep us in focus with our illnesses but some times I think it is good to defocus and focus on stuff that make a positive impact in our life like interest and hobbies. I started a NY YANKEE fan group. I would have been happy with 3 to 5 members but we are up to 19...wow...I have great interest there and when I talk to the members I am not so focused on myself and it uplifts me. I just wanted to say thanks for opening these groups.

I want to sincerely thank u and the others for putting this group together and somehow inviting me to join. Dealing with losing my sight due to a very rare disorder has thrown me for a loop. Yes, I found a support group for ptc, but most have not lost their sight as much as I have. Since joining this group, actual people that are going through or have gone through the different stages of anger, depression, ect. I have been up lifted here and have gotten use to looking 4 and giving these hugs. I don't know if you are a Christian or not, but I am and sincerely pray that God will bless you and the rest of this team.

Thank you for this site, I have searched for something like this for years, a support group that is free, instead of those expensive groups I never stick to because I really could not afford to go, I even tried to set up my own free support group in my village but was not successful but it did make me more determind to do something and with this site I have found the support I was looking for. Keep up the good work.

I stumbled on to this website looking for answers on Bipolar disorder and to my surprise it's really pretty amazing. I have suffered with depression my whole life and was diagnosed almost 2 years ago after being almost forced to, thank god. I have alot of hurt from my past and need to deal with them all. In any case I didn't think I'd find a site where people really care and understand, in just two days I feel so much better knowing I'm not alone, I don't know if you realize this or maybe you do, you are saving lives not only for us but for those we love to be able to reach out and not feel judged or feel crazy, to be able to know others feel what you feel makes life alot easier to deal with. Thank you.

I've only been here 3 months. I love the care, support and encouragement on this site. Really love the new groups. Thanks for reminding me about the current members in need. I have a tendency to focus on the new people. Lots of love and prayers sent to you and the DS team.

Thank you for all you do for our members. If it wasnt for the communites here, I dont think a lot of our members would have very good lives. I know, I suffer with hepC, and our board is spiritual, and friendly for the most part.It allows me to get real info from people that have been thru the treatments and how they have overcome some of the pain, and how they stay positive. Im thankful everyday for what you have given us here at DS..I am also a member of a group, and another community, and its my life somedays, I have a place to vent, and share. Some of our family members just dont get it, and they can also come here, and find out information on their family members diseases, or ask questions about anything they cant seem to ask the family member. I sincerely thank you again for all you have given us.. From the bottom of my heart..THANK YOU ALL!!

I just want to say thanks for all your hard work (and the rest of the team too). You may never know just what a lifeline this site has been to me and others. On days when I think I can't go on, I can come here and find understanding and comfort. Thanks so very, very much.

I just had to drop you a line to congratulate you on this site. I completely found it by accident, and can't seem to break away now. I've met so many wonderful ppl, I can't begin to express how in such a short amount of time they've made one hell of an impact on me. This may be the second time I've encountered ppl of whom I've never met that truly seem to care. I belong to another site, which I wont get into, where ppl there have become very good friends of mine too. I've been able to tell them about me and my life so far, and what I'm having to do to repair things. I've gotten so far, no judgemental input from any of them. Mostly like those friends I've made here. Nothing but prayers,and "keep ya head up". Now for me, that's a great feeling I havent had in a very damn long time. Another thanks to you for caring about others to the point of which you started something like this. My hats of too ya for DS. Thank you soo, much, again,I just had to tell you this.

I would like to say a big thank you for starting this forum/site. It has been a great source of comfort to me in the last few days since I found you. It is great to know that you are not alone. Even though none of us know each other personally, at least we can share our experiences and have some sort of understanding what we are all going through. I find the people on here so much more comforting that my friends here in Sydney that I have known for years!

Hi Doug. I've been around for a while. Just thought you should know, as I'm sure other people have told you, that this site is an absolute life saver. I personally suffer from CFS. The site is jam packed full of wonderful supportive people. We all love each other. It is so uplifting. My daughter told me about DS because she is a part of another community and I saw and felt her getting stronger. Sooooooo, thank you for all your hard work and the work of others who run this site. YOU have touched SO MANY Lives in such a positive manner through this wonderfully supportive network. Having developed bulimia after having lost 110 (now 116) pounds, I didn't want to conquer one battle to inherit another. Your website was .. and is .. a God send and it has blessed my life with such supportive, caring like-minded people who truly have huge hearts and so much compassion for others ... Like me (although I am learning), many struggle to show the same compassion to themselves. Thank you so much. I have only been here about a week but suddenly I have found wonderful friends. People who really understand. I have been to many MS support web sites but this one beats them all.

First of all, I want to thank WHOEVER came up with the wonderful idea for this site!! It has TRULY been a lifesaver to me as I'm sure it has been for others. I have been soooo blessed by making new friends and getting to know them personally and without this site, I NEVER would have found them! MANY thanks to the creators of this site!!!

I think this site is remarkable. I applaud you for creating/maintaining/supporting it. I simply couldn't cope at all with the idea of an actual in-person support group, but find this to be completely manageable, as well as comforting, helpful, and enlightening.
