everything went well today at our first drs appt as a little family...daddy was very excited and mommy too got to see the little peanut im due december 6 and im so ready and excited to get on with this pregnancy and become a mommy again... everyones saying its going to be a girl lol were anxious to find out needless to say but everything went well....dr was great and we go back again may 14...2 Recommendations9 Comments

Today I have been GF 100 days!!!!!
The days have been adding up and I almost forgot that I had hit the 100 mark. A very good feeling not to be focussing ALL the time on gambling. That is not to say I am not working on recovery every single day. I am and it takes it out of me for sure - exhausting but worth more than a work out!

I finally contacted the person at the hospital that makes all the decisions on what happens, and asked her about support groups for parents that have lost their children. This week started so badly and work is horrible, but I passed the damn manditory certification exam! I can't even express how happy it makes me to get this finally done. I overcame a very large fear by doing this.

Have today off, and want to use the time wisely. Maybe I will go out with Sara to my sister Cathy's and walk our two dogs. They love to walk out there cause she lives in the country and they don't have to have a leash. Well......all is done. Mom's funeral, burial, her bills are paid, furniture moved out, etc. Now begins my new life. I approached today as if it were any other day...it's hard not to when you've been dealing with sick kids for 2 weeks, being run down yourself from the viruses and multiple wakings at night. I started thinking about this year...this milestone that I have reached. 1 year cancer free!
