Tweedledee 
I have a friend who met her fiance at almost the same time I met my Pumpkin. She always made comparisons on our two relationships, timing of milestones, isn't that cute, blah blah blah, she was very intrigued by our similar paths.
Now her wedding to her guy is planned and my guy has been dead for a year. A mutual friend said something to me about going to her wedding and I said, "J, you KNOW I'm not getting invited to that wedding." J. just stared at me. "Why not? You, me, D, of course you will."
"She's afraid it's "catching". Haven't you noticed? She has totally distanced herself from me since (the Pumpkin) died. She wants me nowhere near her happy engagement, her life, she thinks I'm toxic now. My "parallel partnership" crashed and burned in the worst possible way, she doesn't want me anywhere near hers."
J. looked like a lightbulb had gone on. She said, "My god. I think you're right."
