Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I suffered with diarrhea for 3 months. After a colonoscopy, I was diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis. After many types of treatment and a change of Gastro Physician, I finally got relief. He stopped Predisone and Entocort, so I have to wait and see if the symptons come back.
Treatments
- Entocort Working / Worked
- Stopped the diarrhea.
- Flagyl Working / Worked
- Was prescribed before I went on steroids. No improvement seen in the diarrhea.
- Lialda Somewhat Helpful
- Helped somewhat.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Taken with entocort. I Have to wait and see if the symptons reoccur.
- Questran Working / Worked
- Prescribed by my Primary Care Dr. Somewhat checked the diarrhea.
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I started having a horrible cough. The DX is viral Bronchitis. The cough will not stop until I stop smoking.
Treatments
- Chantix Not Working
- I had a reaction to it. Terrific headaches.
- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- I'm working on "cold turkey" now.
- Hypnotherapy Working / Worked
- Had 3 very expensive sessions. Did not work.
Open Heart Failure
I went to a Pulmonologist and was told I had a premature heartbeat. Saw a Cardiologist and found that my EF was 25%. Had a catherization; no blockage, but EF still @ 25%. A defibrillator is recommended.

- Carvedilol Working / Worked
- My BP is still high.
- Diovan HCT Working / Worked
- BP is still high.
Open Loneliness
I am a 72 year old female and in the depths of loneliness.
Open COPD & Emphysema
Diagnosed with COPD. Stopped smoking 90 days ago. Was hospitalized for SOB. Not sure if cause is COPD or Heart Failure.
