Close Bipolar Disorder
BP for about 24 years, dx only 2yrs ago. Starting to level out w/ meds but I seem to cycle faster and more often than the norm for BPD. I am also a recovering drug addict for 2 years. I have a 2.5 year old and a few support people in my corner. My world seems very limited and small right now so I signed up to be a member here hoping to find a few friends who understand where I am at some days.
Treatments
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- love it, no rash but itch occas. Started wrkg immed.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Small does of anti-d to work w/ anti-d included in lamictal. No current sides, loose BM in the beginning about 3 weeks.
- DailyStrength Working / Worked
- BPD/Addiction Communities have given me insight, info, and best of all friends who absolutely understand.
Close Meth Addiction & Recovery
Started using meth 9 years ago, been clean for 2 years, also Bipolar, which often times feels like a "high" or a "come down" from meth. Having a hard time lately with using thoughts.
