I hope you are feeling better, even though the circumstances make it hard. I forgot to give you the website - I bought a couple of the books from there. I highly recommend "The Courage to Change." I also highly recommend the books by Melody Beattie - the information is incredibly solid and provide more directions than the S-Anon books do (in my opinion) -they offer real applications that you can adapt to your own situation, making them incredibly useful. http://sanon.org/cgi-bin/mm5/merch...

I'm sorry for what you're going through. My spouse is addicted to porn as well. It's sickening, isn't it? You know, if you and I were the richest and most gorgeous women in the world, they'd still do it. The only suggestion I have right now is to assert your boundaries and refuse to allow him to mistreat you and make you suffer for his misbehavior. A dedicated wife deserves a dedicated husband - if we give them everything in us, we deserve the same in return - we do not deserved to be set aside while they get their jollies through the images of lowly tarts who would never love them anyway. Talking to and meeting these women is crossing the line as far as I'm concerned - you don't deserve to be disrespected and mistreated that way. I joined a local S-Anon group. It's a little odd at first, but you do learn to take better care of yourself and detach from the hurt these men cause. I pray that you find a way through this and that you never lose sight of your own value - his misbehavior is NOT a reflection of your worth, it is merely a reflection of his own selfish character defects.

Open Gallstones
Well, I just got out of the hospital. I'd been sick for a week with bad back aches and then vomiting. Last Thursday I went to the ER in terrible pain and unable to breathe. Turns out it was a gall bladder attack and I got admitted and on Monday they took it out. I am home now (Thursday). They did the surgery laparascopically and so it was way less painful than it coulda been. My liver enzymes are still too high, so I need to follow up with that as an outpatient.

I just found out that my husband is addicted to porn AND TALKING to the women who SEND HIM pictures of themselves naked AND was planning to meet one of them. I am just sick. :(
