Prozac Working / Worked

worked wonderful for a while then seemed to poop out, but now I am going back on it because I feel like I am having pms times 100! I quit zoloft cold turkey over a month now and can't stand it at times. I take a zanax and it relieves my stress for a while. So I will have to wait for weeks to feel the effects from prozac. I was on it for about 15 yrs. before I tried zoloft. Prozac helped my curb my appetite which I need cuz I have an eating disorder also.

Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful

Getting my meds is the only help there. I have family to talk things out, and that is equal to talking to a cousler, but better. I have tried this many times through crisis.

worked wonderfully but gained weight and had very tender tongue and dry mouth

helps curb my compulsions, especially smoking. No side effects. Take 150 mg. twice daily

no side effects and worked for a long time seemed to poop out after, but now that I went off for a couple months, I realize it worked, so am back on it, started two days ago.

Close Anxiety

I was dx with anxiety about 20 yrs. ago, but know now that I was born with a chemical imbalance but came on strong after many tough times in my life. I see a phsychiatrist. Seen many counselers. Had great phys. but went out of business, so I have new one. He is very nice, so it is ok. I also have depression and an eating disorder. I am abulemic. I binge and purge.

Definately work. I wouldn't be with out them . I use them as needed. I need them to sleep. Mentioned it to dr. and he must feel there is no better med out there for me for sleep.

Worked great, til I started gaining weight. went off cold turkey. bad idea

Excellent. Keeps me from needing a cigarette when I can't smoke.
