ANOTHER milestone !!! As of yesterday, October 8th, Kim and II are post-op by 6 months!!!!
This 2 weeks is sure prolific with milestones! Lol! It seems like I went forever without anything to really bite into to celebrate about, and now there are so many of them I'm having a hard time keeping track of them all! Poor me...
My next milestone is to catch up with my hubby!!! I only have 20 more pounds to go!!!!
I did the public relations interview yesterday, it went really well! I gave her my story, but really, my story (Thank Goodness!) is rather mundane. When I told her about Kim and I, and the fact that we met in Support group, and hit it off really well. Then Decided to support eachother through our surgeries by having them together, Rachel (she did my interview) got really excited! This was something different and would make for an Interesting story!!! She asked if I thought Kim would be interested in doing an interview also, I told Her I didn't know, but I'd ask! Of course, I talked to Kim and she said she'd do it!!! This could be fun!!!! More to come on this Later!!!
Then we went to Support group, and Of Course, had a ball! Adrienne (our Nutritionist) was doing a cooking demonstration and she made some stuff with black beans in it that was to DIE for! Yummy! I have the recipe!!! it is really thick but she was using it for a dip, I believe, I think I would use some more liquid and thin it just a touch, but it tasted excellant!!! I managed to remember to bring all of the things I needed to give to Kim, And remembered to give them to her!!! Lol! and Of course, Don was a kook again!!!!! What a goose!
After support group, we went to Shelly and Joe's for Chili! Wow!!! We tore up the place til 11!!!!! I don't think I have EVER laughed so hard!!! Gracie was there with her hubby Kevin too! this is the first time I've met him, but I knew who he was right off the bat! He perfectly suits her!!!! They are both very funny! Shelly's house is adorable and she loves it! I'm glad! It is one of those houses with a TON of character, that is just screaming for someone with some design talent to bring it out! Shelly is the person to do it! So far she is doing a GREAT job! We got home at about 11:45, and Man was I whipped! But we had fun!!!!
I have to go now!!! I have a long shift at work today, and have tons to do before I go! I'll be around later!

LOL Janelle you are so funny!!!!! Thank you again for EVERYTHING!!!! You are just the GREATEST FRIEND EVER!!!!!! I am so blessed to have you and to be able to share this walk with you!!!!! It has really been about the best thing that has every happened in my life!!!!! I was just telling Shelly how AWESOME it is that we have something to do almost every weekend! Before surgery the weekends were pretty much the same as the weekdays, BORING!!!!!! But now with GREAT Friends we have such AWESOME Times together!!!!!! I so think we had to of burned a LOT of calories last night with ALL The Laughing!!!!!!! I just Love you ALL!!!!!!!

Congratulations on all the milestones you are celebrating. I will be celebrating one year on October 17th. I would do it all again in a minute. Sounds like you and Kim are really taking advantage of your new life. That is great. Keep up the great work.
